This cake was for a girl named Scarlett's 7th birthday. The party theme was based on the American Girl Doll of the Year 2012, McKenna, and the gymnastics movie "McKenna Shoots for the Stars". I had to do a little research on the colors and design elements and summed it up in a little design board:
Here is the final cake design. Inside was lavender and green layers cake layers, too! The stars coming out of the cake are cookies with fondant.
