I actually made Sophie the Giraffe cookies once before, but these ones weren't for a baby shower -- they were for a baby girl's 1st birthday celebration! The tag colors were orange and turquoise/aqua to match the party theme. I must admit, I love this cookie! It was an idea that came to me while I was babysitting....because I'm like a cartoon character that is hungry and everything they look at starts to look like a turkey or a ham, except in my case it's a decorated cookie. Also, it's one of those cookies that I forgot how tedious and time intensive the decorating was the first time I made it because of all the feel-good feelings I had looking at the finished product. It very well will happen again because I still get so happy seeing the finished product, but I'm just making a note here & now to myself to never forget how much time and concentration the initial outlines take! Whatever, it's worth it. Sophie is just so darn cute!
