Cole and I shipped a gift box of tie cookies to my dad for father's day, along with a nice microplane multi-sided grater (that my poor dad actually injured himself with on father's day making cole slaw) and butcher shop towels from Williams-Sonoma that made me think of my meat-loving father.
I instagram-ed the cookies on Father's Day, but I'm just catching up with the blog and have a few more pictures to share, you know... for the record.
But don't worry -- we did not forget the other Jim, my father-in-law. We got him something to satiate his apetite for wordy international news -- an Economist subscription. I did however make him some special cookies for his birthday, which is just a few days after father's day. (Post oming soon!)
